On July 1, 2023, Jun.-Prof. Dr. Amir Ebrahimi will leave the IAL and follow an appointment to the W3 professorship for electrical drives and power electronics at the IALB of the University of Bremen. Through his research in the field of large generators and the management of the Generator Converter Laboratory, he and his team at the IAL have been able to establish an excellent international reputation over the past six years. Numerous publications as well as acquired research projects and industrial cooperations are proof of this.
In addition to his outstanding technical expertise, we at the IAL are losing a colleague who is greatly appreciated by the entire IAL team for his energetic, friendly and motivatingly lively manner. We thank him for his great commitment in the last years, congratulate him on his appointment and wish him continued success at his new place of work.
