The Institute for Drive Systems and Power Electronics (IAL) is the largest institute in the German-speaking world, where experts for electrical machines, power electronics and drive control research in close cooperation in the entire field of electrical drive technology from the microwatt to the multi-megawatt range. A special focus of work is the interaction between electrical machines and power electronics.
