Within the framework of Lower Saxony's "Show-case Electromobility", an education offensive in the metropolitan area has been launched with the aim to develop a modular and cross-university training and education program in the field of electromobility. This joint research project aims at academics, such as engineers, technicians and management.  The project partners are jointly involved in the conception, elaboration and realisation of education modules, five experienceable educational workshops and a virtual edu lab. Practice-oriented and freely combinable education modules are offered and tested for use as independent  in-service training and further education measures. They are developed for five issues: "e-cars", "battery", "power electronics and e-machines", "charging infrastructure" as well as "mobility and business models".  The modules make use of simultaneously developed educational workshops and novel simulation-based learning software. The requirements are coordinated conjointly with industrial partners and other joint projects within the show-case.  The further education programs are exemplarily carried out, qualified and tested, including mutual acceptance procedures between universities and universities of applied sciences and arts. In this context, one major point is the integration of current research results and state-of-the-art test and technology setups into the further education program.
